At Books, Biscuits and Tea, I mostly read and review books that I already own or ones that I borrowed. However, I am very much open to requests and I would be very happy to read and review books for authors and publishers.
Genres I enjoy: Chick lit, mysteries, adult/women's/literary fiction, YA fiction, paranormal
Genres I do not accept: Science fiction, titles with religious undertones, nonfiction: autobiographies/ biographies/ memoirs/ short story collections.
What you can expect from my reviews:
I read for enjoyment and entertainment, therefore my aim is not to write a critical analysis of the given work. I am not a professional reviewer, I'm a blogger. My reviews are entirely subjective - I write about my thoughts and feelings about the novel, I do not analyse them.

When accepting a review request, I will try to read and review it as soon as possible. Please note, however, that I always give my honest opinion on each and every book I read, therefore a positive review is not guaranteed.
My reviews include:
- The title of the book and publishing information
- A summary of the book (usually from Goodreads)
- A few paragraphs where I state my opinion
- A rating (on a scale of 1-5)
Since it's quite difficult to compare two books of completely different style and target audience, I always try to compare the book in question to the books I've previously read from the same genre.
Ratings and their meaning:
Absolutely fabulous - it simply blew me away.
Sweet! - I really liked it, it's definitely worth reading.
Lukewarm - an OK read but something's missing.
Bittersweet - It didn't really work for me but I finished it.
Not my cup of tea - I didn't like it at all.
